Charity in SW9 now seeks Head of Major Gifts and Philanthropy to lead the Major Gifts Programme, oversee the coordination of the Development Board and their five-year £15 million appeal and manage the Major Gifts and Philanthropy team (7 people). Key responsibilities:
• Develop the overall strategic direction of fundraising from high net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations and companies
• Lead on the coordination of the Development Board and on the £15million five-year appeal, starting in April 2010
• Provide leadership and line management of the team
• Contribute to the overall fundraising strategy
• Maintain and build good working relationships
Absolutely vital that you have previous fundraising experience, have worked for a charitable organisation in the past and that you have an understanding of the Catholic Church and are able to work effectively with it.
