International aid organisation in SW9 seeks creative and inspiring manager to LEAD an effective Media and PR team. Securing good quality ongoing coverage and providing strategic support and advice to the organisation you will manage a team of 7 and MUST have previous experience leading a team. A senior media or PR professional with a track record of media, PR work or journalism you will explore and implement new ideas, using the media to help improve the lives of the poorest people in the world. Advantageous if you have experience working with volunteers. Acting as a spokesperson and undertaking occasional overseas travel to research stories or lead a media visit it is essential you can maintain contacts with key journalists whilst motivating and leading an experienced team. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are a given. Start ASAP. Closing date 27 January.
