Our client is a b2b electronic wine-trading platform with a turnover of £25m and is the world's only source of fully comprehensive fine wine market information and analysis. It now wishes to expand it's data sales and research operation to better serve the needs of its clients and exploit new business opportunities, and therefore needs to recruit a Research Assistant to contribute to the written output, from in-depth analysis on the wine market to Tweets - and develop original data-driven content. The successful candidate is likely to have a JOURNALISTIC (or other editorial/research) background or leaning, and a strong enquiring and analytical ability. Computer literate, the Research Assistant will have a working knowledge of desktop publishing applications, such as MS Word/PowerPoint and Publisher, in addition to a broad understanding of HTML, CSS, Image Processing and Web content managment systems. Wine knowledge and some financial/business literacy is desirable, but an interest in these areas and a willingness to learn will suffice. Language skills particularly FRENCH are an advantage. But great WRITING skills, natural curiosity and good desk top publishing ability will be the key to success here. |
